Priority Power is seeking applications to fill multiple Summer Internship paid positions for our Energy Advisory Business Development Intern program at our offices outside of Boston, MA. This position primarily supports the Atlas Retail Energy (ARE) brand. The role is ideal for college students seeking experience in sales, business development, and consulting within the rapidly evolving energy industry. The position will work with junior and senior-level Energy Advisors and directly contribute to helping commercial and industrial organizations across the U.S. develop and maintain their energy purchasing strategies.


Business Development Interns (BDIs) are responsible for assisting Energy Advisors with creating and managing revenue-generating opportunities for Atlas. BDIs will receive sales, energy markets, and CRM software database training. Throughout the program, Interns will prospect new leads, complete our “Shadowing Rotation Program”, get real-world cold calling experience, and ultimately present our company’s offerings to our upper management at the internship’s conclusion. This role is in-office and full-time hours (40 weekly, Monday-Friday) are preferred.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be composed, entrepreneurial, and dependable. Candidates must show an interest in business development with a detail-oriented mindset. BDIs will be exposed to all facets of the company including but not limited to: business operations, customer presentations, internal management meetings, lead generation, and market analytics. They must be eager to continuously learn new skills and concepts with a positive attitude. Excellent communication, time management, presentation, and teamwork skills are required.
