With an eye on growth, WARE is seeking a Rental Boiler Start-Up Technician to be based in Louisville, KY. The successful candidate will travel to various sites across the country, performing start-up and commissioning on rental boilers from WARE’s rental fleet.
 

The Rental Boiler Start-Up Technician must be a self-starter with the ability to quickly pivot and respond to unexpected situations, as emergency callouts are frequent and a large part of the rental boiler business. 


Requirements

· Hands-on experience and good working knowledge of boiler and steam systems 

· Familiarity with burning natural gas and fuel oil

· Familiarity with feed water systems and water softeners

· Experience with Autoflame, Honeywell and PLC based controls

· Experience with instrumentation, electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems

· Experience on linkageless control highly desirable

· Boiler Service Technician background preferred, with hands on working knowledge of various manufacturer’s equipment (Superior, Johnston, Cleaver Brooks, Nebraska, Powerflame, Todd, York Shipley, Limpsfield, etc.)

· Must have excellent communication and follow-up skills

· Ability to act with sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail 

· Commitment to accuracy and doing a job well

· Strong customer service skills, with positive attitude and ability to keep composure during stressful situations
