Description


PingWind is seeking a qualified Business Process Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Human Resources & Administration, Office of Security Preparedness (HR&A/OSP), Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO), Center for Enterprise Human Resources Information Services (CEHRIS) program. This work will strengthen the VA’s Human Resources (HR) services by providing comprehensive, modernized, automated, and streamlined capabilities to support electronic records creation, information management, and data services throughout the employee lifecycle. 


Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing process strategies, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents.
  • Overseeing data review and analysis, identifying data trends, addressing gaps in data, and writing detailed reports based on data findings.
  • Developing recommendations using best practice research and data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate on capability development planning with team and additional subject matter experts or functional experts.
  • Facilitating working groups with professionals from diverse backgrounds to elicit and clarify business requirements for new capabilities.
  • Researching current policy, data, and technical documents to identify courses of action to fulfill customer requirements with new or existing capabilities.
  • Developing solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
  • Interacting with stakeholders to understand project needs, collect and synthesize data, and customize solutions.
  • Developing a deep understanding of what the client is trying to accomplish and create strategies to solve multiple dimensions of a business problem.
  • Creating client-ready deliverables with oversight including insights reports, toolkits, resources, and other project related, client facing content.
  • Developing quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and conducting data collection and data analysis.
  • Scheduling, participating in, and taking notes in client facing meetings with key stakeholders and project executives.
  • Collaborating with teammates to produce and present innovative solutions.
  • Reviewing teamwork products and contractual deliverables for quality.
  • Independently managing time to complete assigned tasks as part of the larger client engagement.
  • Identifying additional client needs beyond the current scope of work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or other related field
  • 10+ years of experience with leading process improvement initiatives using LSS principles
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified
  • Demonstrated change management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle of business process improvement ownership
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong critical thinker capable of seeing the big picture and are delivery driven
  • Curious, problem solving, and open-minded approach to work
  • Thrive in a continuous DMAIC cycle
  • Engage with technology with comfort and ease (Power Point, Word, Excel, Teams, Mural, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
  • Government organization experience
  • U.S. Citizenship and/or Green card

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change Management certified (Prosci or other relevant certification)
  • Design Thinking/Human Centered Design experience
  • Experience working with the VA
