We are currently seeking a Controller to be based in our Pleasanton office. The Controller is responsible for taking on a leadership role in accounting procedures and reporting that affects the company and will provide strategic input regarding accounts payable and receivable to CFO and leadership team. While overseeing the overall accounting process, the Controller plays a key role in developing and implementing procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of AVMS.
The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and assists the Regional Vice Presidents – Operations on all tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis and forecasting needs.
The Controller supervises the accounting unit and provides leadership in the organization for cost containment and budget performance.
This important role will include the development of strategies, reporting on performance of key metrics, and the ongoing development/monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the General Accounting and Reporting functions in these areas for AVMS Staging Division and AVMS Hotel Operations:
