Description

 ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The Senior Program Analyst will be responsible for assisting senior ONR government personnel with programmatic support tasks. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, self-starter (motivated), and team player. Candidates should possess expert level experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Candidates must have experience providing high-quality support to Senior Executive and senior government staff and demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with mature judgment, to recognize, evaluate, and analyze problems and implement solutions or provide suitable alternatives. The Program Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Drafting information papers, reviewing documentation for signature, handling office communication, performing records management, and tracking action items.
  • Managing multiple active calendars; composing and preparing correspondence that is sensitive in nature; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Communicating with Directors, Supervisors, Senior Leadership, and others, on matters related to Senior Executives initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships crucial to the success of the organization and managing a variety of special projects.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to work with the department administrative officer and financial officer to ensure that there is sufficient and functional office space, equipment, and supplies available to the department.
  • Setting up and coordinating remote and live meetings and events for the office; query for attendees’ schedules; reserving conference space; ensuring that room/communication applications (i.e., Zoom, DCS, Teams), and/or conference lines are set up correctly and all materials are available for the meeting; taking meeting notes and document attendance, major meeting findings or actions; providing meeting minutes within one week after the meeting occurs.
Requirements
  • The program analyst shall have at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and ten (10) years of experience providing administrative, business, and/or financial support.
  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power-Point.
  • Effective at working independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to complete tasks fast and accurately with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to track and follow through on projects to completion. 
  • Superior organization and interpersonal skills.

Position Location

ONR office located in Arlington, VA (Monday – Friday, 40 hrs./week) ** Currently Teleworking 1 day/week**
