Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for camp facilities; ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, grounds, snow removal, infrastructure system maintenance and electrical trades work. Operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as required.
- Performs a variety of routine semi-skilled maintenance for camp facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, grounds, snow removal, infrastructure system maintenance and electrical trades work.
- Assist with material pick ups
- Collect garbage and recycling
- Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Assembles, repairs, maintains, and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures.
- Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to coordinators.
- Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions to supervisor.
- Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.
- Assists with structural pest control measures.
- Maintains records and logs of daily activities.
- Assists with ministries special events, as needed.
- Performs related duties, as assigned.

Positional
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year experience.
- Able to lift 80 pounds.
- Licensed driver able to drive tractors, trucks, mowers, etc.
- Experience working with CMMS, landscaping and outside vendors.
- Some evenings and weekends required.
- Basic understanding of federal, state, and local guidelines for building and grounds of camps (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to perform mixture of indoor and outdoor work.
- Able to climb ladders and crawl under buildings.
- Able to traverse the multi-terrain campground during all seasons.
