As our People/Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will serve as a key member of our People and Talent Acquisition team working with managers, employees, and colleagues to execute initiatives across the organization. The primary function of this role is to support entry-level recruitment and play a generalist role in the day-to-day operations/support of the entire MWW & Berk Communications community. 


Your day to day job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 


People Support: 

  • Provide Human Resources support to people across the business, such as swift and effective solutions to first level employee questions on all HR topics. 
  • Support People leads with HR administration for both MWW and our sister company, Berk Communications  
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting for all entry level jobs & interns 
  • Manage a robust onboarding process from pre-new hire to manager hand off. 
  • New Hire Orientation: Own the set up and schedule of MWW’s Orientation for new hires and interns. 
  • Support People leads in all areas of talent planning, programming, and DEIJ efforts. 
  • Engagement: Support and participate in employee engagement led initiatives. 
  • Assist with managing Parental Leave plan and benefits, short-term disability policies, process and paperwork associated with parental and STD leaves. 
  • Exit Planning: Own the exit process and notifications to partner teams. Support the employee exit process, analyzing turnover to detect trends. Conduct Coordinator level exit interviews to assess and gain feedback. 

Talent Acquisition Support: 

  • Handle all aspects of recruiting junior executives, including sourcing, interviewing, administering strategy/pr/comms exercises, and moving and tracking candidates through to second and third round interviews. 
  • Make and negotiate offers, managing correspondence with candidates. 

Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of relevant experience working on a People/HR team 
  • 1+ years of entry level recruiting experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or demonstrated experience preferred but not required 
  • Human resources, diversity, equity, inclusion, recruiting, marketing, communications, entertainment, production or creative services experience preferred 
  • Competency in Microsoft-suite preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience working with Talent platforms: i.e. Applicant tracking systems, Human Resources Information Systems, Performance management, Learning and Development suites  
  • Demonstrated experience on-boarding and supporting employees across different offices and/or time zones 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to project manage deadlines and timelines with People leaders 
  • A demonstrated interest in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging 
  • Ability to be in our NYC office 2/week REQUIRED.
