Estimating Coordinator
Description

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Provides preconstruction/estimating services with daily support in the areas of subcontract administrative support, prequalification support, construction documents set up and maintenance.


Specific duties and responsibilities include:


Estimating Coordinator Duties:

  • Address Book quality control maintenance and updating in databases
  • Subcontractor Prequalification support between Estimating and Compliance Teams 
  • Enter subcontract requests with administrative support including printing, transmittals, email and telephone follow up, weekly status updates to manager, and final electronic copy for records.
  • Download & transfer of plans and specs to working environment 
  • Printing & scanning of plans and specs as directed - Keep record
  • Drawing management - Breaking down, stamping in and uploading drawing, specifications, reports, photos, etc. to databases as directed and upkeep of full conformed document set
  • Assist in creation/review of bid & contract List of Drawings & Specifications document 
  • Enter preconstruction RFI’s as needed, tracking and issuance to bidding Contractors
  • Submittal data entry support
  • Meeting Minutes as needed
  • Scanning and filing 
  • Transmittals
  • Creating file folders - printing hard copies 
  • Travel - book hotel, car and airfare as directed

Education / Experience: 

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills: 

Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Adobe Acrobat Pro; Outlook; Internet applications. Experience with CMIC and Isqft platforms a plus.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but fast paced.


Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Salary Description
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
