The Secondary Administrative Assistant is responsible for the accurate and secure organization of student records and the administrative support of day to day Secondary Department operations. 


  • Assist in answering phones for the Secondary Department.
  • Maintain student database and student records as per procedures.
  • Create files for new students and adding annual information as needed.
  • Make copies, types memos and letters, and creates forms as requested.
  • Monitor, order and distribute office supplies including copier paper.
  • Assist other personnel for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
  • Respond to inquiries from a wide variety of internal and external parties (e.g. staff, parents, students, public agencies, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication among department and/or providing direction may be required
  • Maintain health emergency forms and coordinate and process forms and with Nursing.

  • BA degree preferred
  • Office experience preferred
  • Excellent American Sign Language skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, Google and proficient with Mac/Apple computers  
  • Excellent English and grammar skills 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
