Intralogistics Outside Sales Representative

Department: Sales
Multiple Locations: Westfield, IN; Kansas City, MO; Atlanta, GA; Cincinnati, OH; Chicago, IL; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX and surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-Time

This is an outside sales position that will be responsible for selling Storage Solutions products, services & solutions to new and existing accounts.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn how equipment, technology & automation solutions are utilized to create proposals addressing customer pain points
  • Gain knowledge on how project solutions are estimated & executed to ensure maximum profitability for the company
  • “Go the extra mile” to generate sales for a portfolio of existing and new accounts to reach team and company goals
  • Keep existing Accounts – Provide day-to-day management of existing Accounts to enhance our “trusted partner” status
  • Attain new accounts – Actively identify and pursue leads and potential customers to win new accounts
  • Recapture lost accounts – identify and pursue “lost opportunities” in an effort to win back business
  • Expand existing Accounts – Identify new sales opportunities within accounts to sell additional product into existing locations and to secure new locations
  • Follow a defined prospecting plan to prospect for new business
  • Follow a defined sales process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Network effectively to build relationships
  • Attend industry trade shows as required
  • Uncover and assess customer’s needs/challenges and provide assistance and product/service options to address their needs/challenges
  • Become & remain knowledgeable on products & services offered by the company
  • Collaborate with project management/sales support team to prepare proposals
  • Present proposals & project solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with project management & coordination team members to ensure proper execution of projects & customer service
  • Serve as liaison between the Account/Prospect and Storage Solutions
  • Develop effective relationships with all levels of Accounts and Prospects (Executive, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Operations, ) to maximize SSI
  • value to our customers
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers & networking contacts
  • Interface with multiple decision-makers within accounts
  • Negotiate the sale with all stakeholders
  • Share best practices with team members & company
  • Maintain effective, regular communication with all Accounts and Prospects by effectively utilizing company CRM
  • Participate in internal projects as requested

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to close deals
  • Capability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proven ability to interface with all levels of an organization
  • Previous sales experience is ideal
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, closing and communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Office & field oriented position with some overnight travel to customer sites required
