Installation Crew Member
Storage Solutions, Inc. seeks an Installation Crew Member in order to meet growing customer demands. Previous background and/or experience is not required – we’ll train you.
The position will be installing and dismantling warehouse distribution equipment. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-focused, take initiative, and work independently as well as with groups.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with loading and unloading building materials
- Assist in building structures for commercial job sites
- Perform tasks involving physical labor (lifting, climbing, bending, and operating power tools)
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally work in food storage freezers with subzero temperatures
- Ability to operate construction equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Employs strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of drawings/blueprints
