Position Summary

To ensure that all materials, instruments, and supplies are available when needed so that the sim lab and all clinics can function. Also to accurately charge departments and students for materials used/purchased and to generally assist in the Materials Mgmt. Dept.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process Purchase Requisitions through the Banner system and Benco orders.
2. Create monthly reports/IDC’s for all depts.

3. Assist with other Materials Mgmt. duties including but not limited to leadership and supervisory responsibilities when the Manager is out, as needed.
4. Student charges = 2x per year.
5. Dental and Dental Hygiene and Senior Check in/out = once per year.
6. Once a year projects such as providing supplies and coordination of the 7-year.
 

Dentistry program, Explorations in Dentistry, and Interdisciplinary programs w/dental and ER doctors, and Accelerated dental programs.

Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education – A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a
    business or trade school.
  • Employment - Six months to two years (Equivalent combination of education and employment).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Bookkeeping and data entry.
  • Proficient computer skills such as Word and Excel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service

Physical Requirements

Job requires repetitively lifting light weight objects where frequent bending or stooping alternates with lighter activities.


Work Environment

Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.


Salary/Pay Information

Commensurate with experience


Anticipated Schedule  

Monday – Friday 8:00 Am – 4:30 Pm; some   weekends
