Position Overview: We are seeking a Custom Molding Project Manager to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing custom customer projects, overseeing project development from concept to production, and contributing to competitive yet profitable project outcomes.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage custom customer projects and act as the primary point of contact.
  • Receive and process orders, ensuring terms align with quotes and all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Review customer data files and blueprints to provide accurate bids or proposals for tooling costs, plastic piece prices, and secondary operations.
  • Produce reliable cost estimates for manufacturing products, verifying tooling meets production requirements.
  • Review and approve tool designs and design changes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for products, tooling, and related information.
  • Expedite orders, provide customer updates on order status, and follow up as needed.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure projects are set up for efficient production.
Requirements
  •  5+ years of prior experience in custom molding.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Plastics Engineering or a related      discipline.
  • Knowledge of mold building, raw materials, equipment, and molding      techniques.
  • Proficiency in IQMS, SolidWorks/AutoCAD.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, and crouch for      extended periods.
