JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a SolidWorks 3D CAD designer to join our team! If you have experience in the SolidWorks or other 3D modeling design field this position might be for you. Buffalo Air Handling is looking for a professional, accurate, and efficient designer to develop detailed custom air handling unit design drawings for production using Solid Works modeling. Candidates’ tasks will be to draft original 3D subassembly and main assembly drawings while applying our engineering standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use of SolidWorks and DriveWorks interactive software to generate and detail      drawings and models.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on projects.
• Determine the proper size and materials for products.
• Create new details to expand upon existing models and layouts.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

• Experience working in SolidWorks or similar 3D software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability.
• Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Creativity and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
• A good background in math and science.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office essentials such as Excel and Word.
• Attention to detail.
• 2+ years of 3D technical drawing experience.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma with classes in design and computer graphics.

· An associate degree or a certificate from a technical school. 

· Professional certifications are also acceptable. 

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

This is a salary, no-exempt position and is not remote
