The Salesforce Developer plays a pivotal role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions within an organization. This individual is responsible for customizing and configuring Salesforce to meet specific business needs, as well as integrating Salesforce with other systems and platforms. The Salesforce Developer collaborates closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that optimize business processes and drive productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Salesforce to align with business requirements, including but not linted to creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms, such as ERP systems, marketing automation tools, and third-party applications, using API’s, web services, and middleware.
- Data Management: Manage data within Salesforce, including data migration, data cleansing, and data quality assurance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, administrators, and other developers, to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions. Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments following best practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and deployment guides.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end- user, resolving issues and addressing enhancement to request in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Salesforce updates, best practices, and emerging technologies. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Salesforce certification
- Proven experience in Salesforce development, customization, and configuration, with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL, and other Salesforce development tools and technologies.
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API’S.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaborations skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agile Central is preferred.
- Abilit to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
