Description
  • Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate the learning styles and needs of all students.
  • Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment, promoting positive behaviors and a culture of respect.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to the regular teacher upon their return.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
  • Be prepared to teach across various grade levels and subjects as needed.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Indian Rocks Christian School in all interactions and teaching practices.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching or substitute teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
  • A commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of biblical principles in teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work with students across different grade levels and subjects.
  • Certification by the State of Florida or ASCI Certification is a plus.
