PCG Consulting group is a dynamic and innovative technology-driven organization that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives. We're currently partnered with Deloitte and is looking for a Senior Level Adobe LMS Tester to join our team.


We are looking for a professional, senior-level Adobe LMS Tester that will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the Adobe Learning Management System (LMS) through comprehensive system testing. This role involves designing and executing testing strategies to evaluate the implementation of architecture, governance, and user functionalities within the Adobe LMS platform. Additionally, the Adobe LMS Tester provides detailed feedback and recommendations for system improvements to the development team to enhance the overall performance and user experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Design Testing Strategies: Develop comprehensive testing strategies and plans to assess the implementation of Adobe LMS architecture, governance structures, and user functionalities. Define test objectives, scenarios, and acceptance criteria to ensure thorough coverage of system components and features.
  2. Execute Testing Activities: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, to validate the functionality, reliability, and scalability of the Adobe LMS platform. Utilize testing tools and techniques to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  3. Evaluate Architecture Implementation: Assess the adherence of the Adobe LMS architecture to established design principles, standards, and best practices. Identify any architectural issues or limitations that may impact system performance, scalability, or maintainability.
  4. Test Governance Structures: Validate the effectiveness and efficiency of governance structures implemented within the Adobe LMS, including user access controls, permission settings, and content management policies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  5. Verify User Functionalities: Test user-facing features and functionalities of the Adobe LMS, such as user registration, course enrollment, content delivery, assessments, and reporting capabilities. Verify that user interactions with the system meet usability standards and expectations.
  6. Provide Detailed Feedback: Document test results, defects, and observations in clear and concise reports. Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for system improvements to the development team, including prioritized action items and suggested solutions.
  7. Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate testing requirements, clarify issues, and facilitate resolution of defects. Participate in regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment on testing priorities and objectives.
  8. Support Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-implementation reviews and retrospectives to evaluate the effectiveness of testing efforts and identify opportunities for process improvements. Contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the context of learning management systems or web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate system functionalities and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically identify, isolate, and replicate defects.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and technologies, such as test management software, defect tracking systems, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
