Description

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Panel Shop Internship. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with control panel assembly.


Panel Shop Intern Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read electrical schematic, sub-panel layout drawings, other instructions and identify parts to assemble and test electrical panels.
  • Perform the hands-on physical tasks involved in panel assembly.
  • Complete point to point wiring and install a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical components.
  • Construct, maintain, and test equipment and components.


Requirements

Panel Shop Intern Education and/or Experience:

  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in an electrical or instrument related field required.

Panel Shop Intern Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and apply hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and conscientious nature.
  • Ability to maintain positive work relationships with co-workers.

Panel Shop Intern Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to work with up to 120 VAC.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, reach and bend.
  • Ability of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects.
