Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Serving 4-6 tables, as determined by management.

• Interacting with guests in a friendly and fast manner; ensuring guests complete satisfaction and exceeding their expectations

• Maintaining complete knowledge of Restaurant’s food and beverage preparation 

· Entering and completing customers’ orders on computer system; accepting different types of payment. 

· Checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages; politely refusing beverages to guests who are not of legal age.

· Clearing and resetting tables

• Maintaining specific side-work and ensuring the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant

• Reporting to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test.

• California Food Handler’s card required for all foodservice employees who prepare, store, and serve food. 

• Physical stamina to lift and carry items (food, dishes, etc.)

• High energy and strong verbal communication skills required.

• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure.

• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.

• A willingness to work mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family.

• Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.
