Description

Plan, direct, and coordinate a wide variety of architectural millwork projects from the start to finish.


Essential Functions

  • Read and analyze architectural drawings.
  • Manage the engineering and review of shop drawings.
  • Oversee the project scheduling. 
  • Direct procurement of materials and subcontracts.
  • Release projects to production and monitor projects throughout the production process.
  • Work closely with contractors, architects, and owners to assure satisfaction of all parties involved.
  • Manage all aspects of contracts, both financial and obligatory, from original contract to closeout documents.


Requirements

Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to read architectural drawings
  • Knowledge of construction/woodworking materials and methods
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam software is a plus
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Teams
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum two years of experience in construction or woodworking background required
  • Combination of education and experience


Physical Requirements

  • Regularly requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally requires visits to a local jobsite or customer office.
  • Occasionally requires the use of safety equipment to be worn per the job site requirements such as safety glasses, safety vests, hard hats and/or appropriate footwear.
