Lifeguard
Description



Performs responsible supervision and protective service work insuring a safe environment for members and their guests, aids troubled bathers in emergencies, and enforces all rules and regulations. 


Primary Duties:

These job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees may be assigned additional duties by management as deemed necessary. 


  • Responds to emergencies according to safety policy and procedures
  • Completes all paperwork and documentation including incident reports 
  • Maintains the health and safety of all users of the facilities and all employees 
  • Enforces rules, regulations and policies to all guests, groups, and organizations
  • Inspects the pool and surrounding areas, reporting conditions or practices that may pose a threat to health and/or safety to the Facility Manager 
  • Provides customer service and responds to questions from members & guests
  • Follows daily schedule


Requirements

 

Requirements:

At least 1 year of lifeguard experience 


Dates for this job will be from:  May 23 thru Aug 1, 2025

• Must have the ability to work weekdays, holidays, and/or weekends as required by aquatic program needs. 

• Valid Florida Driver’s License (Class E)

• Active American Red Cross, Lifeguard and First Aid Certification.
