As an Outside Business Consultant, you will work closely with various teams within the company while providing white-glove support to our customers.


Outside Business Consultant

NFI requires a highly motivated Outside Business Consultant to maintain existing accounts with an emphasis on growing new business and profitability. It is important that this position be held by a team-oriented, solutions driven individual with a focus on our highly valued customers. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships and promoting sales growth by creating and executing tactical sales plans is essential. 
  • Responsible for meeting assigned sales revenue targets.
  • Create and execute tactical sales plans.
  • Seek out and develop new customers through leads provided and outbound calls.
  • Build revenue opportunities by utilizing standard follow-up activities and searching for additional applications, increased volume, referrals, cross-selling, and understanding the value proposition brought to the customer.
  • Ensure all customer communication made through CRM (HubSpot), is up-to-date, clean, and tasks are always completed on time.
  • Utilize internal resources for more complex sales solutions and technical issues.
  • Notify Sales Management of customer concerns that may impact business relationships or profitability.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient use of materials and equipment.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Requirements


· Previous experience in similar/same industry outside business consulting is mandatory.

· Strong computer and systems experience is required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet use proficiency.

· Excellent communication skills are necessary, focusing on oral, written, and listening abilities.

· The ability to build key relationships with potential customers is crucial.

· The ideal candidate should possess a dynamic, high-energy, and interpersonal style.

· The ability to work through a problem and maintain focus under pressure is essential.

· An active team player who exhibits a positive work attitude and can work independently and collaboratively.

· Aspiring to work with a high-performance team and a willingness to grow and be challenged is a must.
