Job Title: Sales Engineer - Plastics Injection Molding Industry

Position Overview: We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within the plastics injection molding industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in plastics engineering or a related field, combined with excellent sales acumen and customer relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability in the plastics injection molding market.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations to customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements

   

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development within the plastics injection molding industry, with a strong understanding of molding processes and materials.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, driving customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a passion for driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
