General Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Technician II you will be responsible to work with engineering and production associates to ensure workflow on production floor by expediting electrical sub-assemblies and electrical harness installation. Working with engineers to troubleshoot electrical subsystems. Mentor and teach new technicians to troubleshoot and fix electrical systems. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Mentor and train new technicians

· Read and interpret electrical schematics

· Draw basic schematics to use for troubleshooting

· Build harnesses and cables as required to support troubleshooting and manufacturing

· Support engineering to troubleshoot trucks

· Willing to travel approximately 10%

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· 5+ years of experience with electrical systems troubleshooting and repairing

· Electrical system diagnosing and repairing including HV and LV harnesses

· Familiar with HV subsystem and basic HV system architecture

· High School diploma or GED

· Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus

· Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel

· Must be organized, with strong communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

· Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical system design, safety, EMI, EMC, HVIL

· Experience in harness certification for IEEE, SAE, and EMI standards

· Understanding of high voltage energy storage and charge systems in EVs

· Familiarity with related regulations, FMVSS/SAE standards, and practices
