About The Role

Our Content Innovation Team is looking for a Software Engineer II to implement technical solutions to mine, create, and deliver data related to the original languages of the Biblical text and other closely related Biblical disciplines. Additionally, you’ll be working with a team of experts in Biblical languages, history, and theology to develop new tools and resources to help the Church grow in the light of the Bible. 

 NOTE: The applicant must be able to work from our Mexico offices or remotely within the country.  

 Requirements 

• Computer science and programming skills in relevant languages (C#, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience developing, modifying, and debugging software programs, production scripts, and database interactions
• Understanding of data storage and organization, including relational and "Big Data" mechanisms
• Ability to uncover and synthesize information from a wide variety of sources when creating original content
• Organize, manage, correct, and review large bodies of complex data with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to automate the gathering of digital data and create data sets
• Create models and schemas and format them into data structures

Preferred Experience

• Leveraging AI and AI APIs to gather and curate large datasets
• Understanding and experience with RDF graph databases
