WHO WE ARE:

Facktor Health Consulting LLC is a healthcare consulting firm servicing primarily Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), along with hospitals, health plans, medical groups, academic programs, Independent Physicians’ Associations (IPAs), and foundations to assure profitable financial modeling, strategic planning and expansion, as well as maximization of grant and operational revenue and compliance with regulatory agencies and review bodies. Facktor provides guidance related to clinic development including financial and operational assessments, quality improvement, strategic planning, and development of Health Resources and Services Administration / Bureau of Primary Health Care (HRSA / BPHC) grant applications and implementation processes. Facktor also provides consulting services related to general clinic management including finance and operations support as well as advanced clinical model development including project management of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation process and other quality and population health management initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In close partnership with other Facktor team members, the CHFM will support directors and partners, the scoping, implementation, and delivery of projects that are high-profile, technical, and grounded in financial outcomes to clients in community healthcare. Projects will be seamlessly integrated into client operations and provide clients with financial, strategic, compliance, and operational successes. You may be leading and training associates while contributing to Facktor’s own product development, client relationship building, and business strategy as needed. We are growing our east coast team and client base. While the intention is to grow this market, this person may also be assigned to clients on the west coast. This position combines financial analysis and reporting, project management, and grants management with intense communication, engagement, and hands-on implementation with clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work both independently and in a team environment under supervision of directors and partners to deliver the highest-quality financial strategic and functional accounting guidance for Facktor clients. 
  • Build long-term relationships with senior executive management as a trusted, dependable advisor. 
  • Contribute to Interim CFO work by working closely with the executive team and other key stakeholders to provide financial leadership, maintain financial stability, and help drive the company's financial goals.
  • Prepare and present accurate, well-supported financial analysis to senior executive management and community health center boards of directors.
  • Prepare financial reports for key internal stakeholders and external compliance/regulatory bodies.
  • Develop modelling tools that accurately forecast financial outcomes in an auditable and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Create detailed budgets that are fully compliant with funding requirements and support strategic goals.
  • Access and interpret financial data to identify financial performance improvement opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize efficiencies, reduce total cost, manage risk, maintain compliance, and improve the quality of delivering healthcare services.
  • Perform and interpret data-driven analysis of healthcare utilization and costs, reimbursement/billing issues, population health and clinical outcomes, productivity patterns and variations, and strategic trends.
  • Identify root causes of issues and design interventions that effectively resolve them.
  • Ensure consistency of approach related to analysis, techniques, and presentation of client recommendations/opportunities.
  • Investigate and research client issues through holistic investigations that utilize document analysis, environmental research, interviews and observations.
  • Develop interventions that are seamless and fully integrated with client operations to ensure that recommendations are actionable and appropriate to their context.
  • Juggle multiple client engagements simultaneously while continuing to provide excellent client experience and stay organized
  • Document recommendations in reports that are precise, thorough, easy to read, and need minimal copy editing.
  • Create funding opportunity responses that are competitive and compliant with offering guidelines. Write grant narratives quickly and accurately.
  • Project manage complex tasks with efficiency, tact, and effectiveness.
  • Communicate with clients in a way that creates enthusiasm and turns complex ideas into understandable tasks.
  • While this position is primarily remote, you could be asked to travel 10% of the time.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Warm and energetic personality with an ability to connect with clients and thrive in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Master’s Degree preferred but not required. MBA ideal.
  • Four years’ experience in healthcare finance. Experience with healthcare billing/coding a plus.
  • Prior Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and/or Community Health Center (CHC) experience a plus.
  • At least four years of experience with data and financial analytics projects.
  • Strong attention to detail in writing, analytics, and compliance.
  • High-level command of Excel. Tableau a plus.
  • This role requires the flexibility to work EST, CST, and PST, preferably located on the East Coast.
  • Ability to work an average of 48 hours a week

  • Prior experience in community healthcare finance a plus, but not a requirement.

LOCATION: Facktor supports a remote office environment. Ideally located on the East Coast.

SCHEDULE: Full-Time 


SALARY RANGE: $110,000 to $140,000 may vary based on skills, experience, and location
