In this position, you will support Production across the PURIS enterprise, mainly from our state-of-the-art Dawson, MN facility, with occasional travel to our other Production facilities and Minneapolis. This position is a hybrid role, able to work from home two days a week, and in Dawson three days a week.


As an HR Business Partner at PURIS, your primary focus will be on talent attraction, retention, and development. Reporting directly to the Head of People Operations, you'll play a crucial role in supporting Operations across our three Midwest production locations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating alignment of business objectives with Team Members and management in designated business units, consulting with management on HR related issues, and refining our HR processes and strategies. Additionally, you'll analyze trends and metrics, while developing or improving solutions, programs, and policies, and managing and resolving complex Team Member relations issues. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent to drive our mission forward.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities

Talent Attraction and Retention

  •  Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent to PURIS, with an emphasis on hourly staffing.
  •  Manage recruiting pipeline to create the best company and candidate experience possible.
  •  Develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing Production talent within the organization.
  •  Drive standardization in the execution of our talent acquisition processes.
  •  Lead new hire HR onboarding process for Production.
  •  Develop and administer Team Member recognition and engagement programs.
  •  Communicate HR related information internally.

HR Analysis and Development

  •  Evaluate and anticipate HR related needs within the organization.
  •  Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  •  Develop partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and Team Members.

Team Member Relations and Performance Management

  •  Manage and resolve complex Team Member relations issues.
  •  Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
  •  Work with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, engagement, and productivity.

Compliance and Legal Support

  •  Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to Team Member management.
  •  Partner with the HR team and legal counsel when necessary to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance.

Training and Development

  •  Identify development needs for business units and individuals.
  •  Participate in evaluation and monitoring of development programs.
  •  Conduct regular meetings with respective business units to address training and development needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to inform HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex Team Member relations issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience with Paylocity a plus.
  • Experience with workforce planning and succession planning.
  • SHRMCP, SHRMSCP, CHRP, aPHR, PHR or SPHR certification a plus.

Additional Requirements

Occasional (<5%) travel to PURIS facilities in Harrold, SD, Randolph, MN, and Minneapolis, MN.
