General Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire set-up mise en place and will ensure the freshness and the quality of all food products.
Essential Job Functions
1.Report to the appropriate workstation on time, in clean uniform and on scheduled days with proper tools to perform required duties.
2.Communicate with the Supervisor regarding any potential problems or concerns. Posing problems must be reported at an appropriate time in order to rectify the problem in a timely fashion.
3.Perform job duties in accordance with Club policies, procedures, and standards.
4.Workstation must be maintained in a neat, safe and clean by utilizing proper handling and storage procedures of station mise en place.
5.Responsible for the freshness and quality. Knowledge of degrees of doneness or meats.
6.Assist in banquet preparation and pickups when requested by Supervisor.
7.Responsible for lighting the deep fat fryer and gas burning grill Heat must be maintained at an optimum temperature for cooking grilled and fry items on lunch and dinner menu.
8.Produce the finest quality product with a positive attitude.
9.Assist any and all colleagues who need assistance.
10.Responsible for the proper rotation of all food items in workstation mise en place as well as the kitchen.
11.Responsible for proper usage of equipment in compliance with Club rules and regulations.
12.Responsible for communicating with co-workers on each shift of any problems or concerns.
13.Attend pre-shift where sous chef covers any relevant Club information.
