Senior I&T Engineer

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior I&T Engineer that will be responsible for the leadership and planning of all integration, functional, and system testing processes and activities across the enterprise. 


Responsibilities:  

  • Provide senior-level testing guidance and input to product development teams. 
  • Establish functional test cases and procedures for program capabilities and products. 
  • Support functional, integration, and delivery verification testing activities for their associated product. 
  • Support baseline release verifications and validations for their associated product. 
  • Support the design and implementation of testing automation solutions and initiatives. 
  • Support hardware and software system patching and tracking efforts. 
  • Provide testing support for capability assessment and technology investigation activities. 
  • Perform as a technical mentor for members of the associated product teams. 
  • Provide testing support as part of resolution of any open program problem reports (PPRs) for their associated product. 
  • Provide remote site support for testing and site setup activities. 
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics. 
  • Eight (8) years of related, proven experience performing similar duties. 
  • Experience planning and executing complex software system test cases and procedures. 
  • Experience with test scenario and script development and requirements management. 
  • Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues. 
  • Experience with project logistics and working with controlled engineering baselines. 
  • Experience developing and executing testing programs and scripts in Linux-based environments. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work within teams. 
  • Strong organizational skills.  
  • U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • 12+ years of related, proven experience performing similar duties. 
  • Experience configuring software and system test automation tools and processes. 
  • Working knowledge of cyber testing or training. 
  • Experience leading I&T teams and efforts, making technical presentations, and writing formal reports. 
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools. 
  • Experience testing components residing in virtualized and containerized environments.
