Job Summary


The Community Partnerships Manager’s primary role is to cultivate relationships in the community to ensure Girl Scouts programming is available to all girls, inclusive of underrepresented populations through partnerships and collaborations. This includes leadership of staff and volunteer teams accountable for achievement of girl membership goals, including adult facilitators to support program delivery. This position requires working flexible hours and traveling throughout all areas of the council.


The priorities also aim to include diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and access to ensure delivery of the quality Girl Scout leadership experience for girls. This job is not routine, clerical, or administrative in nature.




Requirements


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Leads an engaged, motivated, high performing team that delivers programming to girls and includes training adults to lead Girl Scouts programming to girls through team onboarding, training, performance management, accountability, coaching and support.
  2. Develops and cultivates partnerships and engages the community in the delivery of Girl Scouts programming by building relationships, storytelling, collaborations with schools, recreations centers, partnerships with other youth serving organizations, faith-based organizations, civic groups, and corporations. 
  3. Responsible for developing and executing effective outreach strategies in underserved communities by building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure success.
  4. Ensures quality programmatic experiences inclusive of all four program pillars, that are progressive and age appropriate. This includes participation in Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP) signature programs, events such as the cookie program, camp, and travel.
  5. In partnership with the Data Integrity Team, maintain a “logic model” for program delivery, establish desired outcomes, prepare surveys to monitor desired outcomes, ensure surveys are implemented consistently and results reviewed at least annually. 
  6. Assists in collecting quantitative and qualitative data for reporting on girl participation, programs, evaluations, and overall Community Partnerships initiatives and grants.
  7. Accesses and provides solutions to address barriers to participation which may include transportation, financial assistance with membership, uniforms and badges, and girl recognitions insuring and equitable programmatic experience for all girls.
  8. Develops and implements short-term, episodic volunteer opportunities to support program delivery. This includes onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
  9. Develops and implements family support and communications to increase family engagement in the delivery of Girl Scouts programming.
  10. Manages department spending and ordering, inventory management, and distribution of program supplies, uniforms, badges, and girl recognitions; coordinates with the Girl Experience Team as needed.
  11. Maintains knowledge and consistently utilizes data and reports in Salesforce and Looker.
  12. Keeps up with trends and changes in serving youth from ages 5-17. 
  13. Stays informed of federal, state, and local laws governing Texas and Oklahoma. 
  14. Must be professional, respectful, enthusiastic, and polite to members, prospects, volunteers, community partners, coworkers, and others.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Girl Experience and Community Partnerships Lead.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS – Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of management experience. 
  3. Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.
  4. Commitment to the mission, values, and purpose of Girl Scouting.
  5. Membership in Girl Scout organization.
  6. Must be willing to work with all persons without regard to race, religion, ethnic origin, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
  7. Knowledge and proven ability to lead youth programming.
  8. Knowledge and proven ability to partner with, train, and lead adults. 
  9. Knowledge and proven experience in community cultivation and volunteer support.
  10. Willingness to join and participate in community groups, parent teacher organizations and other community collaborations.
  11. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, manage staff and meet deadlines and produce results.
  12. Ability to work a flexible schedule including travel, nights, and weekends.
  13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  14. Verbal fluency, good grammar, and professional appearance.
  15. Have and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state where employee works/resides, an acceptable driving record, acceptable insurance, and reliable transportation.
  16. Must complete and pass a criminal background check and drug screening.


Salary Description
$51,912 - $69,216 Annually
