Job Position: Activity Aide
Direct Supervisor: Activity Director
Job Summary: Assists the Activity Director in planning and executing recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs for all residents.
Job Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including writing in a manner suitable for documentation.
- Working knowledge of and ability to assume a leadership role in conducting a variety of activities such as crafts, creative expression, music, games and gardening.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates desired.
- Feeding Assistant Certified required (will provide training)
- Good interpersonal skills including group dynamics and teamwork.
- Cheerfulness, positive attitude and ability to motivate people.
- Genuine liking and respect for the elderly and physically and mentally challenged.
- Ability to work independently and with supervision.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Assist as needed with dining room tasks.
- Flexible hours starting at 8:30 am
Job Type: Part-time
Salary Description
$20-23/hr, DOE
