Description

Our client, Cloud Storage Security, is excited to announce they've opened up a new role as a Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with new clients and partners, and driving revenue growth. This new role will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and converting leads into qualified opportunities for the sales team. This role will also be responsible for certain operational tasks like CRM hygiene, deal registrations to our partners, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media platforms.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers and influencers within target companies.
  • Initiate contact with prospects to introduce our products/services and establish rapport.
  • Understand the unique needs and pain points of prospects and articulate how our solutions can address their challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.
  • Create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials highlighting the company's value proposition.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, maintain accurate records, and manage sales pipelines.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships, address any concerns, and overcome objections.
  • Provide regular feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on prospect insights and market trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for the cyber security space, and articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with prospects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Curious, self-motivated and driven with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus Points

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Prior experience in the technology/software industry
  • Experience in the B2B cybersecurity industry
  • AWS accreditations and/or certifications
  • HubSpot certifications

Base salary: $50,000  + variable compensation and commissions. Earnings potential of up to $100,000 per year (perhaps more), based on how motivated you are. 


The salary range is a general guideline. Our compensation structure is designed to be competitive with industry standards and reflective of the candidate's qualifications and the responsibilities of the role. We consider factors such as market rates, geographic location, and individual skills when determining compensation.
