We are seeking an experienced Head of Advertising Products to oversee the development, launch, and product marketing of a unified product set that consists of print and digital advertising products for Valpak, Clipper Magazine, and LocalFlavor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the creation and management of diverse media products, with expertise in both print and digital response mediums.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of advertising products for Valpak and Clipper Magazine, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.
- Determine the best-in-class products that both companies can sell.
- Ensure that products work in harmony with our online platform, LocalFlavor to drive the highest ROI possible for our businesses.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and optimization, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, incorporating insights into product development strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Develop pricing strategies and packaging options for advertising products, maximizing profitability while meeting customer needs.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance and effectiveness, providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and direct marketing, integrating new innovations into product offerings.
- Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to support product development and delivery.
Education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital display & CTV advertising platforms including DSP providers.
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing, launching, and marketing advertising products, with a focus on both print and digital mediums.
- Proven track record of success in streamlining products that deliver high value both online and offline.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with direct marketing, advertising sales, local business product offerings, or media publishing industries.
- Experience with analytics tools, and CRM systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Location preference for candidates in Tampa, FL, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
