The Biorepository Inventory Technologist I will serve an operational role for the Biorepository department working on assigned client storage projects. Good organization skills are essential, as this position requires working on various projects and tasks. Candidates should possess strong attention-to-detail skills as all relevant information must be accurately recorded, site SOPs must be adhered to, and site procedures must be followed when working with client inventories and client database systems.
A Biorepository Inventory Technologist I will support the Biorepository, ABS, and clients by following guidelines to ensure Client inventory and Client product is accessioned, stored and maintained in accordance with internal SOPs to ensure product is stored and maintained at the highest quality standard.

• Associate degree in a medical or biological science is required
• Bachelor of Science in biological science or related field preferred
• Certifications in medical sciences preferred
• Experience working in a production lab (i.e. as medical technologist or at a blood bank) preferred
• Experience working in a Biorepository or sample management preferred
• A combination of education and work-related experience may be considered
• Experience with BSI database systems preferred but not required
• Experience with biohazard and biospecimen handling preferred
