To achieve this unwavering support, Familylinks provides a wide range of family-centric services encompassing Behavioral Health, Youth & Family Services, Service Coordination, and Senior Services with an Administrative department to coordinate all services. The role of the HR Coordinator is to complete administrative duties for the HR department related but not limited to, processing new benefit enrollments, supporting all agency audit inquiries, generating monthly and quarterly reports as needed, maintaining HRIS system files, and supporting agency wide employee benefit education efforts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support all aspects of employee benefits, including medical, vision, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, worker’s compensation, 403b, COBRA, etc.
  • Assist in managing the Leave of Absence (LOA) program and tracking leave of absence documentation and sending notices to employees to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage data to support internal and external audit requests.
  • Receive, update, log, file, and follow-up with unemployment claims.
  • Manage incoming inquiries via calls and HR service account.
  • HRIS data updates, including processing personnel action forms.
  • Support data collection and the process of monthly invoices for all group benefit plans.
  • Assist in all actions related to annual open enrollment and/or new hire benefit elections.
  • Oversee all audits of personnel files ensuring all state and county required documentation is valid and accounted for.
  • Build and maintain filing system.
  • Transition current physical files to digital format.
  • Ensure employee physical/digital files are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain physical and digital files for temporary employees.
  • Receive, update, log, file, and follow-up with unemployment claims.
  • Maintain contractor files.


Working Conditions:

  • Office setting may require long periods of sitting.
  • Will occasionally lift and carry 10-15lbs.
Requirements


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration preferred, or equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Prior HR experience a plus
  • Time management and attention to detail necessary 
  • Familiar with confidentiality and privacy practices.
