BLS, one of the largest and most established certified public accounting firms in Delaware, is seeking professionals with either experience or advanced technical skills in a variety of audit and small business areas with a strong nonprofit organization emphasis, including preparation and review of work papers, financial statements and reports.

Job duties include:
- Planning, executing and supervising the full scope of audit and accounting engagements for a variety of non-profit organizations
- Preparing and analyzing various financial statements up through performing technical review
- Primary liaison between the client, Supervisor, and Manager or Director
- Staying compliant with pronouncements of professional and other regulatory groups
- Mentoring of new staff on assignments, while simultaneously performing efficiently on engagements
- Preparation of tax returns for nonprofits and varying entities is a plus
Other qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 3-5 years accounting experience in an audit or accounting environment with emphasis on nonprofit auditing
- Client relations skills
- Working knowledge of nonprofit audit compliance
- Ability to travel to same-day work at client locations
- Ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of ProSystems software, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Microsoft Office and other programs related to accounting and auditing
