Description

POSITION SUMMARY

A tailored-foundational banking training curriculum designed for individuals interested in pursuing careers in banking. As an intern, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of the operational, compliance, and risk components of banking through a rotational program.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


Role

  • Interns will be assigned to a primary banking position, where they’ll learn customer service, conversational banking skills, and how to create a great client experience.
  • Shadow other departments within the banking industry to gain insight and exposure outside of Retail. 
  • Assist with special projects for various departments as needed. 
  • Performing all other duties as assigned

Potential Career Path

  • High-performing interns may be considered for full-time positions.
  • Additionally, there’s an opportunity to participate in the Central Bank Career Trainee Program after college graduation.
Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College student pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred; all majors considered)
  • Relevant work or internship experience in sales, service, or finance  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to learn quickly and take action in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective sales skills (professional, assertive, confident, driven)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills
