Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Takes orders for Cakes, Baked goods, and catering. 

· Answers phone and answers questions regarding bakery/deli products. 

· Cleans organizes, and stocks assigned area. 

· Attentive interaction with guests coming in and as they leave, ensuring a positive guest experience. 

· Ability to inform guest of all bakery products including ingredients upon request. 

· Accurately write and follow detailed instructions on special orders to ensure product meets or exceeds the guest expectations. 

· Demonstrate positive, enthusiastic, committed, and flexible attitude always, while promoting the importance of effective teamwork. 

· Maintain positive working relationships through respectful, open, and effective two-way communication with all coworkers, supervisors, and all management. 

· Supports FOH and BOH staff in other duties assigned. 


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Excellent communication skills; verbally interacts with management, team members and guests.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. 

· Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure. 

· Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively. 

· Strong verbal communication skills required. 

· California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food. 

· A willingness to work morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
