We are seeking a caring and compassionate Licensed Clinician, to take on the position of Assistant Team Leader,

on our Mobile Crisis Response Team (MRT).


As a Mobile Response, Assistant Team Leader, you will provide needed crisis intervention and linkage to support services in the community. You will assist the Program Manager with day to day operations and will have the responsibility to carry out crisis interventions and respond to the needs of individuals who experience a behavioral health crisis in any setting (schools, home, juvenile justice setting) .

As a Mobile Response, Assistant Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Program Manager in provision of overall direction and goals for Mobile Crisis Response Team
  • Provide supervision to individuals as dictated by Program Manager
  • Function a a member of the Mobile Crisis Response Team and conduct emergency evaluations for new and existing clients who have accessed services through MRT
  • Provide emergency interventions, post-ventions and appropriate dispositions for assigned clients
  • Participates in review of MRT documentations : notes assessments, safety plans, transition plans, and aftercare plans
  • Provides on call crisis intervention covering nighttime hours and serve as a backup to evening and weekend staff
  • Assist the program manager in the day to day administrative operations of the MRT Team


Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in a Human Services Field
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses
  • Must have a current Florida license in Social Work, Mental Health, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling
  • Must have a strong commitment to the crisis intervention resolution and ability to link to available resources
  • Skills and competence in the areas of crisis intervention strategies are required.
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years
  • Must beable to apply Therapeutic Effective Aggression Management Techniques without limitations
  • Must have previous supervisory experience
