ConnectUs (www.connectuscorp.com) is seeking a Shipping Lead with expertise in continuous improvement and lean methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our shipping operations. This role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM at our King of Prussia warehouse. 


The Shipping Lead will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics to drive the highly dynamic warehouse, ensuring it meets daily customer demands by fulfilling orders promptly and delivering exceptional service in shipping options. 


Responsibilities for this position include leading the shipping process through our shipping and order management software systems to support continuous and measurable improvement for scale. The Shipping Lead is responsible for meeting the operational goals of ConnectUs and will help define the processes, procedures, and systems to support scalable and long-term growth. This role is critical for ensuring that our logistics processes align with best practices and deliver optimal results. MUST HAVE strong attention to details.  


This person will naturally prioritize customers. They will strive to "wow" in every interaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Implementlean methodologies to streamline shipping processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance logistics systems and procedures.
  • Train and manage shipping team members in lean practices and efficient workflows.
  • Analyze and report on shipping metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate lean principles throughout the supply chain.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure smooth operation and cost-efficiency.
  • Keep up to date on all changes, regulations, and customer needs.

Competitive compensation based on skills and experience (salary range of $50,000 - 60,000)

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Customer-first mentality
  • 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role within shipping or logistics.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in logistics and inventory software systems. (ShipStation experience is a plus)
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse organization and workflow. 
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a very fast-paced environment
  • Strong active listening and communication skills
  • MUST HAVE - Keen focus on details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Google Spreadsheets
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Salary Description
