Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Market President to lead our banking operations in the Oswego, Illinois market. The Market President will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market share, and enhancing customer relationships while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue targets, market expansion, and product innovation, in alignment with Servbank's overall goals and objectives.
  • Business Development: Lead business development efforts to acquire new customers, deepen existing relationships, and grow market share through targeted sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, businesses, community organizations, and key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver customized banking solutions.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to branch managers and other team members to drive performance, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee banking operations, including retail banking, commercial lending, credit administration, and risk management, to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of services.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance indicators, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for growth and profitability while managing risks and controlling expenses.
  • Community Engagement: Act as a visible and active representative of Servbank in the local community, participating in community events, sponsorships, and initiatives to support community development and enhance Servbank's brand reputation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in banking or financial services, with a proven track record of success in leadership and business development roles.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operations, as well as industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership,  communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Community-oriented mindset with a demonstrated commitment to community engagement and relationship-building.
