SUMMARY: The Linen Driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off linens (clean and soiled) to KEES rental homes and units on assigned routes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)

1. Follows assigned route from KEES Operations Building
2. Loads and unloads linens (clean and soiled) at KEES Operations Building.
3. Delivers clean linens to rental homes and units, then follows the route back to pick up soiled linens.
4. Separates the soiled sheets from the soiled towels at Operations Building.
5. Responsible for driving KEES Linen Trucks

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires walking and sitting for significant periods. Requires the ability to perform physical labor: lifting (up to 75 pounds frequently). Dexterity in pushing and pulling, climbing, stretching and bending. Requires the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with guests and staff members.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Indoors, 75% protected from the weather. Outdoors, 25% unprotected from the weather.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1. Driving-must be able to navigate route in safe and timely manner during heavy seasonal traffic
2. Effective communication: can communicate in a timely, effective, and appropriate way in person and through various apps.
3. Time management: must be able to work in restrictive timelines and execute job roles accurately to avoid rework.
4. Adaptability-respond quickly to changes in routines and schedules.
5. Teamwork and collaboration-every employee needs to accommodate the views and opinions of other team members, be teachable, and capable of mentoring coworkers based on strengths.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 18 years of age or older
2. Highschool diploma or equivalent
3. Valid and current driver’s license
4. Work holidays and weekends

Starting from $17 Per hr

HAZARDS: May include, but not be limited to, slipping, tripping, and other injuries incurred through the performance of physical labor.
