DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keep lawns mowed and maintained on schedule
Trim trees and shrubbery when needed
Clear lawns of any trash and debris
Properly usage and identification of tools
Uses and follows safety procedures, policies, and wears PPE (personal protective equipment) when needed.
Assists in maintenance of departmental tools, workspaces, vehicles, and equipment-keeps workspace, garage, and work vehicles clean and up to Legacy Home Services standards.
Performs other assignments as directed by the Departmental Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires walking, standing, and some sitting for the entire shift. The ability to perform physical labor: lifting up to 75 pounds frequently (several times daily). Dexterity in reaching, bending, climbing and stretching. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Outdoors 85% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Strong Driving- Lawn Care Technicians are responsible for driving Legacy Home Services work truck and vans as well as pull a utility trailer. They need the ability to navigate in heavy traffic.
Time Management- Lawn Care Technicians work on a scheduled time line. They must be able to execute job tasks efficiently and effectively.
Effective Communication- Must communicate in a timely, effectively and appropriate manner. Communication will be conducted through various apps, through phone calls and text, and in person.
Adaptability-must be able to respond quickly to changes in routines, working tools, and weather conditions.
Work Specific- must have the skills and ability to operate machinery, understand assigned tasks, and complete tasks in groundskeeping maintenance.
