Summary

The Director of Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance at PURIS will lead and oversee comprehensive food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs. You will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive food safety and quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure all products and processes comply with local, national, and international food safety and quality regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) to achieve meet GFSI standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate food safety and quality risks throughout the supply chain.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external customers on all matters related to food safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, supply chain, and sales teams to integrate food safety and quality standards.
  • Build, lead, and develop a team of food safety and quality professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or related field required, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance management roles. Biomedical experience & Quality Engineering experience a plus .


Skills and Capabilities: Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
