Join our dedicated team as a Building Services Technician, where you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for Heritage Auctions employees and clients. SUMMARY:  The associate will primarily be responsible for general building repair, maintenance, and preparation of in-transit valuable items. They will also assist the Building Operations team as needed. 

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience
$500 Sign On Bonus - $250 after your first paycheck & $250 after 90 days

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Moves necessary materials around job sites as assigned.
• Cleans up worksite debris
• Provide general maintenance and building repairs
• Provide general support for Building Operations
• This position reports to the Building Operations/Maintenance Supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

• Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks required
• Work quickly and without direct supervision.
• Must have problem–solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• High ability to follow written and oral instruction
• Great attention to detail
• Fork-lift experience a plus
• Box truck or step-van experience is a plus
• Floor-cleaning knowledge is a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:  Valid Driver’s license.  

 WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly daily.
• Must be able to travel up to 20%. 
• Available to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
