General Summary:

This role will serve as the primary contact for CCSD schools in the delivery of Fulfillment Fundamental programming. While providing day-to-day support and supervision to a team of college counselors, the School Partnership Coordinator will ensure successful execution of programming for CCSD high school students. The School Partnership Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the department manager to develop CCSD school partnerships, programming, events, and organizational processes. Additionally, this role works with internal and external parties to expand FFLV’s reach in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  

School Partnership Oversight

  • Recruit and maintain collaborative partnerships with target CCSD schools to deliver Fulfillment Fundamentals programming to CCSD students.
  • Attend and engage in wraparound services meetings as needed in collaboration with school site college counseling staff.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on the Fulfillment Fund's programs to school administrators.
  • Represent the organization at school campus events to expand on-campus program reach.
  • Quarterly checks ins with school administrators
  • Facilitate regular communication between school site college counseling staff and partner school staff
  • Collaborate with the communication department to promote partnerships, training, and events.
  • Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in collaboration with the Department Manager.
  • Other duties may be assigned at the Department Manager or Executive Leadership’s discretion related to the core aspects of the School Partnership Coordinator - Fulfillment Fundamentals or related positions.

Program/Project Coordination

  • Coordinate and support the facilitation of engaging presentations, training, and workshops for students.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Fulfillment Fundamentals workshops in collaboration with school partners. Organize and support workshops that Fulfillment Fundamentals Advisors/Counselors will conduct. 
  • Collaborate with the college counseling team to ensure key dates and forms are updated with the most relevant information (college admission, scholarship dates, etc.). Coordinate with internal departments to deliver community events.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with program staff to maintain consistency of services and identify areas of support needed
  • Regularly provide written and verbal key updates to the Department Manager, colleagues, and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Support program staff with administrative duties as needed.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities to support growth of department programs and staff. 
  • In collaboration with the department manager, ideate, design, and establish metrics, goals, and outcomes to expand the reach of Fulfillment Fundamentals college access curriculum and events within CCSD high schools.  
  • Collaborate with the department manager to evaluate metrics and develop reports for grant reporting and board meetings. 
  • In collaboration with the department manager, develop and maintain a tracking tool that measures the program reach.
  • Coordinate effective data collection by program staff.
  • Collaborating with the department manager, develop and maintain the partner, student, and adult evaluation tools to measure success. 
  • Coordinate the decision-day planning and execution efforts with a team of staff members.
  • Evaluate and interpret the data to identify trends, facilitate knowledge exchange, and enhance the quality of tiered services through continuous improvement program efforts. 
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of Fulfillment Fundamentals Counselors responsible for delivering content through partnership.

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with high school administrators, teachers, counselors, students, and families.
  • Ability to navigate diverse perspectives, handle potential disagreements, and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the diverse backgrounds and needs of the student populations and school communities served.
  • Effective presentation, facilitation, and training skills for diverse audiences,      including small and large groups of students, adults, and CCSD staff.
  • Proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented approaches with a solid commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in standard information technologies, including Microsoft 365 products, the world wide web, and databases. 
  • Experience supervising teams comprised of those with different lives, and work experience levels, personal backgrounds and types of knowledge.Minimum of three years' experience in the educational and/or non-profit sectors.
  • Skilled in fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment that aligns with the Fulfillment Fund's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Strong customer service skills. 
  • Broad and deep understanding of the college prep coursework tracking and college admissions process. 
  • Strong knowledge of financial aid processes, FAFSA completion, and strategies for securing scholarships to maximize college affordability.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English language skills are highly desirable. 
  • Awareness and understanding of first-generation college issues are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the smooth execution of events and workshops.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree or greater in education, sociology, counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is desired but not required. 
  • Experience managing, training, and mentoring staff

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current Nevada state-issued Driver’s License, current automobile insurance coverage and current automobile registration.
