Are you a very active person? Keeping up with these individuals will certainly help you get your steps in for the day! Customized community support coaches take individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities out into the community everyday. Coaches assist individuals with everyday necessities, help them to access activities in the community, and reach their plan goals.
Experience with medical needs, personal care, and hands-on assistance is needed. Use of gait belts, walkers, weighted vests, and a wheelchair. Ability to lift a fold-up wheelchair and a car to transport it in. All individuals enjoy being out in the community, visiting museums, and community centers, and exploring all the city has to offer.
