If yes, Penn Power Group is looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done and join our talent team! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our Team. You will play a vital role in procuring vehicles, equipment and Capital expenditures for the Company and monitors maintenance, vehicle licensing and registrations. In addition, evaluates, negotiates, and analyzes suppliers to determine what non-inventory products are purchased.

Requirements

YOU HAVE DONE:

  • Maintained vehicle database, including Geotab remote monitoring, of company fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Implemented and monitored preventative maintenance programs for fleet and company assets.
  • Calculated Return on Investment and analyze buy verse leases options.
  • Developed an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders.
  • Managed annual CapEx budget.
  • Managed Credit Card program including administration and reporting.
  • Managed and coordinated physical inventory and inspection of fleet along with company assets.
  • Negotiated pricing with suppliers.
  • Knowledgeable in Federal and State Small Business Suppliers.

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of prior related experience in managing a fleet of vehicles, purchasing and/or supplier management.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including Pivot Tables.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers.
  • Negotiation skills to provide most economical sourcing to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Solid business acumen and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management with superior follow up and follow through. 
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and remain flexible in working on multiple tasks.
