We are currently searching for an Account Executive to join our Sales team. In this role, you will primarily focus on proactively reaching out to prospects and customers from K-12 schools and districts to achieve a sales quota within an assigned territory. If you have an intrinsic motivation to connect with people and share our purpose of eradicating illiteracy, are comfortable with carrying a quota and documenting your progress, and characterize yourself as a salesperson who enjoys discovering new leads, we would love to hear from you.

  • Achieve assigned territory quota
  • Develop and deliver territory plan
  • Identify, nurture, and close new and existing opportunities
  • Create and follow up on opportunities

We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable for hitting the following numbers:

  • Present 10-15 demos
  • Conduct 3-5 monthly events (dinners, luncheons, conferences)

Education, Skills, Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Sales, Business Administration, or a related field (not required with adequate relevant experience)
  • 5 years of Sales Experience (preferably in Education or Saas)
  • Effectively communicate with customers and potential customers (written and non-written)
  • Efficiently use a CRM such as Salesforce, Dynamics, Hubspot, etc., (Salesforce experience is preferred)

Travel Required

Some overnight travel is required, up to 50%.

Salary Description
$65,000-$90,000 base salary + commission
