Salary: $18.00 per hour / Non-Exempt
Shift: May vary depending on schedule; typically five consecutive work days in a row with two days off; 8-10 hour shifts

Role Summary
The Merchandiser role is a great starting point to join the Southern Eagle Distributing family and start your career. As a Merchandiser, you’ll rotate and stock cases on shelves, coolers, racks, and bins with products. You will also arrange and build product displays to attract customers within the company’s designated delivery area, driving to account locations and take physical count of stock, check and price product. Your schedule may vary from day to day based on scheduling and customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Take inventory to identify items to be replenished
- Rotate and stock shelves, racks, and bins with product
- Check inventory levels and rotation and monitor product quality according to company and supplier standards
- Plan and build product displays in retail stores
- Set up advertising signs and displays of product on shelves and counters to attract customers to promote sales
- Complete product and development training as required
- Communicate appropriate information related to inventory and customer service needs to sales representative or delivery personnel
- Maintain positive customer relations

- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong customer service skills
- Preferred skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 180 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the job
- Available and willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug check
- Must pass a motor vehicle report and meet liability insurance requirements
- Reliable personal transportation
